As a lifelong resident, I have had the privilege to raise my family, live, learn and work within the Sooke School District.  


Throughout my career I have led multi-disciplinary teams and developed strategic stakeholder relationships and partnerships to deliver quality,  cost-effective programs and services across B.C.. This included K-12 education programs and services that served all schools and districts across B.C. ; including SD62.


As a long-term public servant and volunteer within several local community and sports organizations, I respect and understand the importance of developing and maintaining relationships, partnerships and ensuring equitable, inclusive and fiscally responsible decisions.

Through personal commitment to lifelong learning and development there are many learning and career opportunities that have contributed to my knowledge of local and provincial educational planning, programming and services.

Continued growth, change and demand for new and improved educational programs, services and facilities, is expected at all grade levels & early years (Pre-K).  


Building new schools and providing equitable, inclusive, diverse and innovative programs, services and learning spaces requires meaningful, regular and thoughtful collaboration.  


I will ensure all voices, ideas, interests and the needs of students, families and staff are reflected in the decision making, and planning processes. 


I  will utilize my experience, knowledge and established community and provincial partnerships to ensure SD62 continues to meet current and future expectations of students, families, staff and all communities SD62 serves.
